Brennan Stokkermans, Medical Illustrator

About: Brennan Stokkermans is the lead medical illustrator and designer for All About Vision. His graphics and medical illustrations supplement the medical content presented on the site, making technical concepts easier to visualize and understand.

With a background in scientific illustration, Brennan has produced artwork for paleontology and medical papers for over five years. His artwork has been published in multiple journals, including PNAS, and can be found in numerous publications on PubMed. Brennan also provides graphics and illustrations for a number of eye health and eye care websites in addition to All About Vision.

His paleoart —original artwork that depicts prehistoric life based on scientific evidence — is featured in the book “Mesozoic Art: Dinosaurs and Other Ancient Animals in Art” (2022). 

Brennan holds a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in zoology from The Ohio State University. He is currently pursuing graduate studies in optometry and biology.
